Static Application in Rolled Batch Opening Machine
In the opening machine, the rolled fabric is untied and transported on the carriage as seen in the figure. As soon as the fabric starts to unwind on the machine, a static electrical charge is generated which, when added to the static charges from the friction of the rolls, the static electric charges on the product reaches very high levels. High static charges are an undesired condition because the product is wrapped around the rolls leading into machine stops, also the machine operator to be exposed to high electrical shocks and dust. The H & O Anti Static Bars are placed on both sides of the product so that the problems can be eliminated. Antistatic bars will neutralize the static electricity on the product surface to relieve the flow, protect the operator and increase productivity.
